Obsidian
The
Obsidian is a high-end hatchet featuring an extended blade, making it
useful as a machete. The cutouts in the blade reduce friction and sticking
when splitting wood. They also move the hatchets center of gravity toward
the handle for ease of handling.
The blow molded case features living hinges, elastomeric latches that snap closed, and foam inserts to hold the hatchet in place.
